Mammoth retreat postmortem

• no more science input (for a while, anyway)
  • build something they can futz with before you bug them again
• what is success? write down & keep in everybody's faces
  • from TerraServer: "8 bullet points"
• where are we starting from? write down:
  • what's done
    • what are we stealing from ESSW?
  • what needs to be done

1. Snowpeople prefer to get their data products from us.
2. Water resource managers want our data products.
3. We can map snow under vegetation.
4. NoARSE is why we get new funding.
5. Snowpeople do better work because of our data products.
6. We have the best xxx algortihm, for all xxx we do.
7. We're a better snow DAAC than The Snow DAAC.
8. Snowpeople make better products with ES3.
9. Bill Gates thinks we're really cool.
10. You can get to our products thru a map.
11. None of our products are more than 6 clicks away.
12. We've made lineage work for real products.
13. Our products have the metadata you want.
14. Other people use ES3 to make their own products.
